Cannes

Bonjour Everyone!

I have arrived in Cannes. What a spectacular place this is. It is just incredible. The city of festivals. This is a picture of the Boulevard de la Croisette. This is the heart of Cannes. Busy with people, no matter what time of year. Great for people like me who like to people watch.

I have already seen many things. This is one of my favorites.
It is the Bellini Chapel Museum.

Isn't this an incredible building. It is the Rothschild Castle. Just walking up to it
I started to feel like Cinderella.

This is my Hotel. Hotel Splendid. I fell in love with it because, well the room is just so comfy.

See what I mean? And look at my view.

This is where I'm gonna have breakfast. Looking forward to that.

But first I'm gonna go check out the night life, and for sure have a ride on that Farris wheel.

It has been a very long day. It is late in the day and I just arrived at my beautiful hotel. I thought that I might freshen up and then go find a cafe and get a bite to eat but, after stepping out onto my hotel balcony and seeing this beautiful sunset over the sea, I decided to order room service and save all the sight seeing and resaraunts for tomorrow. I don't think I will ever see anything this beautiful ever again, and I want to take in every moment.
As I wait for room service in my lovely room, I sit browsing some tourist brochures and make a plan for tomorrow.
There are so many things to see. I think that I definitely want to see Cours Saleya (Old town Flower Market), Castle Hill, and Place Massena. And for sure a walk along the Promenade des Anglais.

I had better get some rest. So much to see, so little time.

Cours Saleya

Cours Saleya is a market place in Old Town that can change its markets from day to day. On Monday's it is an antique market, on other days a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables, and on other days a beautiful flower market
